New stuff for a new year!

So, I had kind of forgotten about this whole site after I went to college. I was so busy, and my Photoshop trial expired, so I never had any motivation to make stuff. However, I got Photoshop for Christmas, so I’ve been making more graphics for the site! I added three layouts, some new icons, and a brush set. Also, I made a new site layout. It ended up being smaller and simpler than I thought it would, but I like how it looks.

So today was the start of the new semester for college. Actually, I just had my first class, and I’m in the library now, attempting to use the spotty WiFi to update. I’m taking five classes this semester, but two of them I have some of my good friends in, so that should be fun Last semester was really stressful since it I was taking my first college classes ever and it is definitely different than high school. I also took probably the worst class ever—Intro to East Asian Art. The art itself was really interesting, but it was so difficult to memorize 70 paintings for the final, while at the same time not being able to pronounce most of the names and artists of the paintings (most of them were in Chinese, so I had no idea how to say anything!). Thankfully that class is over with, and I won’t have to take an art class ever again!

I hope this semester I’ll have more time to work on the site and make more graphics. It’s actually pretty good for relieving stress, so I think I might be using Photoshop more often now!

Revamp soon!

I’ll have a revamp soon, I promise! I kind of forgot about my site thanks to being busy at college and also since my Photoshop trial ran out However, I’ve got Photoshop again and I’ve been making some new stuff! Hopefully I’ll be more active in adding stuff to the site, and I’ll add the content I’ve made so far soon!

Stressing…

Hi! I haven’t updated in a while since I’ve been busy with preparing for college. And I guess when I finally get to college, I will have even less time to update. I leave on Friday and move into my dorm on Saturday. Packing up everything is harder than I thought. It’s weird thinking about all the things you’ll need and then leaving everything else behind. It’s also stressful thinking about living somewhere totally new and making all new friends. No one from my high school is going to the same university that I am, so I really don’t know anyone at all. I really hope that goes well :/

In other news, I won second in Cyanide’s Between the Lines Icon Contest! This is the first contest I’ve ever won something in, which is awesome! I entered some other contests but the results aren’t out yet. I hope I can win some of those too!

Content-wise, I’m working on coding a layout and also making more icons and icon textures. Seriously, coloring in manga scans is really therapeutic! I’m totally gonna be coloring icons when I should be studying in college!

Windsill’s now up!

After what feels like forever, I finally got Windsill up and running. I was lazy and saved installing the commenting system until the very end. I could have attempted Wordpress, but that seemed like too much of a headache for me. Anyway, now I’m gonna go join some contests

I’m starting college in the fall, and my orientation is on Monday. I’m so nervous! I hope I can make some friends so I’m not totally alone on the first day in a totally new state. I’m going from New Jersey to North Carolina, so that will be a big change for me. Anyway, this reminds me of when I started high school. I also went to a totally different high school instead of continuing where all my friends from middle school were going. It was terrifying, but I made friends quickly by joining field hockey before school started. I guess I’ll have to do the same by joining extracurriculars before college starts so I’ll have friends to keep me sane. It’s just scary thinking of having completely new friends, and I’m an awkward person so I hope people will like me. Hahaha

Well, I just made naan bread so I’m going to go bake it…Yum
